Chris is a senior executive with over 30 years of experience in risk management, insurance brokerage both in EU and USA. He relocated to Raleigh NC USA in June 2018. Chris provides his insurance risk management services here in the USA as well as within the EU.
For the past 15+ years he has focused on the clean technology, [renewable] energy sector. Both as an advisor and as an entrepreneur.
Chris founded several companies including his own insurance brokerage firm Roland Holst Insurance & Finance / Clean Energy Risk as well as the Wave Energy Holding and the first Dutch Hydro Fund.
As a former developer of Hydro and biomass projects he understands the risk, finance and insurance challenges from both client and advisor perspective.
Prior to starting his own business in 2003 he worked for Alexander & Alexander Inc [AON] and Marsh McLennan Companies and serviced large domestic and US fortune 1000 companies.
